Hello!
My name is Lacie Kummer and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
I have worked in the human services field since 2013 in a variety of settings, including multiple school based settings and providing in-home skills/therapeutic services. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I also have ample experience working with children and youth over the past 15 years in multiple capacities, ranging from working as a school age teacher and caring for children at a drop off site at a local health club to providing CTSS in-home work teaching skills and providing therapy to children, teens, parents, and families. I have also provided mental health services to young adults in a transitional school.
I specialize in working with children who have behavioral challenges, adjustment/transition difficulties, anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, and also in using a Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused approach.
While each individual is unique and seeks support for various reasons, I am focused on creating a safe environment for clients to focus on finding their inner strengths and being able to manage and overcome challenges. Through skills and various tools, everyone can has the ability to thrive! Therapy is a process! Each individual is in charge of the changes they desire to make. I am committed to working with clients and helping them through their own journey to creating the life they want.
