My focus in therapy is to build a trusting relationship which inspires self-discovery and a greater capacity for change. I tend to use a relational style with curiosity, humor, and compassion to hear your story and process with you in a non-judgmental and affirming space. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples. Whether what you're looking for is a diagnosis that helps you understand mental health symptoms and learn ways to cope, better communication skills in your relationships, a safe space to process identity formation or life transitions, or a number of other things, I believe that therapy can be a useful tool.
My style draws from a variety of therapeutic techniques, but it is most important to me that in therapy, we can co-create a process that makes the most sense for you. I approach therapy through lenses of attachment and systems theory, and strive to create an environment which recognizes the impacts of individual, generational, and community trauma.
If you are interested in starting the process of therapy, please do not hesitate to reach out. This is a big step and important decision, so I offer a brief consultation that helps you determine whether I might be the right fit for you. I am looking forward to hearing your story and walking with you in the process of healing!
