Liz’s approach to mental health takes into account individual concerns as well as a systemic awareness of her clients’ backgrounds, relationships, lifestyles, cultures and values. She believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and her priority is building trust with her clients. She has an experiential and compassionate approach to mind-body wellness, and she is a certified yoga instructor. Liz enjoys working with clients with a variety of mental health needs and backgrounds. She considers herself to be a culturally/racially sensitive therapist, trauma informed, LGBTQIA friendly, and practices from a non-judgmental, open-minded and authentic perspective.
Liz enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families of all kinds. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching group fitness, spending time with her dog, reading (but more frequently listening to audiobooks), keeping it real, and laughing at her own jokes.
Liz is a mental health practitioner working towards licensure under Jessica Sawyer, MA LMFT. She sees clients on Mondays in Northeast Minneapolis.
